The Good Life

I try to go for a walk each night after work, after 4 hours of traffic and 8 hours of work, it seems to be the best chill out solution. Take a look at what I stumble upon along the way, definitely good for the soul.

Class of 2012...

I am off today to see this little guy graduate from high school, although he is not so little anymore! I remember the day my little brother was born, my cousins and I would fight over who got to hold him the longest. It's hard to believe he will be graduating and going off to college this year. When I graduated 10 years ago 2012 seemed so far away, and yet here we are already. I am so proud of the person he has become and can't wait to see him grow further as he adventures off to the "real world" on his own. Here's to you Dylan, see you soon!

Casting call for Christian Grey

We are all obsessing about this book, and if you haven't already, start reading now! Fifty Shades of Grey, written by British author E.L. James, will have you trading in your nightly reality TV for hours of page turning, or as I do, screen swiping. I am just about finished with the trilogy and do not want it to end! Good thing Universal Pictures and Focus Features have decided to adapt the story into a movie. Now, let's get down to business. Who will be chosen to play  the ever so irresistible Christian Grey? My vote goes to Ian Somerhalder. 

Manjar Cookie Shop

I am so excited right now! I recently learned that you can drag photos into the search bar on Google to locate it's original source...while doing that I discovered the most amazing Etsy Shop! I have always had a thing for unusual sugar cookies. Don't ask me why...I just love them! The Alcove in L.A. always had a fun assortment, everything from gnomes to surfboards. While searching the source of my Polaroid cookies I discovered Manjar. At this shop you can customize your sugar cookies with personal photos, making them look like an actual Polaroid. I cannot wait to order my own, now I can finally put my Instagram addiction to good use! I may have just found the perfect treat for my brother's graduation party in a few weeks!

I stumbled upon this image about a year ago and never really knew who it was or where it came from, I have always loved it and I just discovered it's source! This clown shoot was shot for Goldfrapp's album art back in 2008. I love everything about it!
